While browsing ffffound I came across Leandro’s work.  He has a way of simplifying objects down to their most basic form.  His animal illustrations remind like a modern Charile Harper.

I was browsing through ffffound.com and I happened across one of the striking images from Jonny Wan. I love the colors, the textures cropped within simple shapes and his defined style.

Jaime Hayon is a Spanish multi media artist from Madrid who covers the multi-media spectrum. Paintings, sculpture/installations, furniture and more.  I just got his book “Jaime Hayon Works”  and it is really great stuff.

Charley Harper’s work is really something else. I’ve been aware of the pieces growing up but I hadn’t discovered him until recently.  He had done thousands of pieces during his life, each it seems equally impressive.  We ordered a few of his prints from CharleyHarperArtStudio.com and were very pleased with the prints.  I also have his book Charley Harper: An Illustrated Life which is really great.

I just recieved the book CALMA the work of Stephan Doitschinoff from my brother in law for Christmas and I love his work.  I went about browsing for more information about him online and found this video.  I think he’s a really inspiring artist.  His website here.
